Apply for Italian SPID remotely.

SPID is Italy’s public digital identity system used to access online public administration, tax and government services. We support foreign founders, freelancers, expats and non-residents with document readiness, provider coordination and English-language onboarding guidance.

Scope of work

Prepare the digital identity route before the portal blocks the next step.

SPID is often needed when a person must access Italian online administration, tax services, company-related portals or official digital procedures. The exact route depends on documents, identity verification and provider requirements.

01 · Route Review

SPID route assessment

We review the applicant profile, residence, intended use and whether SPID is the right identity route for the next Italian procedure.

02 · Tax ID Codice

Codice Fiscale readiness

We check whether the applicant has the Italian tax identification number and whether the data is consistent with identity documents.

03 · Documents KYC

Document readiness

We review passport or ID, address evidence, tax-code status and other materials needed for provider onboarding.

04 · Provider IdP

Provider coordination

We help structure the SPID provider route and guide the onboarding process based on eligibility and available verification options.

05 · Verification Access

Identity verification guidance

We explain what to expect during verification, including language, device, document and timing issues that may affect onboarding.

06 · Use Admin

Operational use guidance

After activation, we help clarify where SPID fits into tax, company, public administration and digital-service workflows.

Process

How SPID support works.

The process is built around eligibility, documents and provider onboarding. Not glamorous, but neither is being locked outside a portal that contains the thing you need.

Step 01

Initial request

You send your nationality, residence country, intended use, Codice Fiscale status and whether SPID is needed for personal, freelance or company-related procedures.

Step 02

Document readiness

We review available identity documents, tax ID data, address proof and other details that may affect provider onboarding.

Step 03

Provider route

We help select and structure a suitable provider route based on eligibility, verification options and applicant profile.

Step 04

Verification and activation

You complete identity verification according to provider rules, with guidance on the practical steps and expected issues.

Step 05

Use guidance

After activation, we help you understand how SPID fits into the next Italy-related administrative, tax or company workflow.

Compliance note: SPID activation depends on provider eligibility, identity verification, document readiness and applicable onboarding rules. We coordinate and guide the route; we do not guarantee provider approval or bypass identity checks. Annoying, but less annoying than selling fairy tales.
Common blockers

Missing or inconsistent Codice Fiscale

Provider onboarding may require a correct Italian tax code and matching identity data.

Foreign identity documents

Passport or ID acceptance depends on provider requirements, verification method and applicant country.

Phone number and access issues

Some routes may require compatible phone verification, email access, device readiness or app-based authentication.

Italian-language verification

Video identification, provider portals and instructions may be in Italian, because apparently portals enjoy character development.

Wrong provider route

Not every provider route fits every non-resident applicant. Choosing badly can waste time with impressive efficiency.

Start

Send the SPID case before the portal starts its little identity opera.

Tell us your nationality, residence country, Codice Fiscale status, identity documents available, phone and email readiness, intended use and timing. We will confirm whether the case fits remote-first SPID support.
